If You Give a Mom a Dish

If you give a mom a dish, she is going to want to put it in the sink.

If she puts it in the sink, she is going to want to wash it.

If she washes it, she is going to want to wipe up the water that got on the counter.

As she is cleaning up the water, she will notice a pile of mail on the counter and start to go through it.

Once she starts going through the mail, she will find a bill that needs to be paid.

She will go up to her computer desk to pay the bill right away.

As she is on her way to her office, she will notice kids' clothes on the floor in the hallway, so she will need to put them away.

She will put the kids' clothes in their hampers and see that their whole room is messy and she will start to clean it.

She will realize she needs the vacuum, so she will go downstairs to get it.

While she is getting the vacuum she will see a dirty dish on the table...

  1. This cracks me up, only because us mothers know just how TRUE each and every line really is....this is why it takes us SO long to get anything done...we have to finish the billion other things before we begin! ;)
